On Friday April 3rd 2009 Ansantawae lodge played host to Several Grand Lodge officers including Bro. Arther H ( Art ) Carlstrom Most Worshipful Grand Master of Masons in Connecticut to present a 50 year pin and certificate to WB Ronald Goldwyn. Ron is a member of Ansantawae lodge as well as Orange Lodge and several lodges of research. Ron was presented with his pin by Bro. Charles A Buck Jr, RW Deputy Grand Master and presented with his certificate by Bro. James Piskaty, RW District Deputy District 4 C. Bro. Goldwyn made several presentations to the lodge from his personal collection of Masonic artifacts, some dating back to the 1700 s. During Rons "15 minutes of fame" he introduced his family and several friends including members of the Lions club of Milford as well as the Mayor of Milford, Hon. James Richitelli. The presentation was preceded by a dinner prepared by WB Bruce Rumford, with assistance of the Officers of Ansantawae Lodge.
