From the East December 2010

Well here it is in December already. I sit here writing my final trestle board as your Master and I want to say that I have enjoyed this past year as Master more than words can say.  December 3rd 2010 is a Master Mason Degree Advancement night with SW Christopher Buck in the East. Come out and support Chris and the lodge and welcome these new Master Masons.  December 17th 2010 is our Annual Meeting and Dinner. Dinner will start at 6:30 pm followed by our annual meeting and then a gathering in the banquet hall afterwards.  December 19th 2010 is our annual Children’s Christmas party, with a special visit from the jolly ole man. Party is from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Any questions see the Senior Deacon Kevin Field for more information.

This past year we were lucky to have a new tool for communications and from the feedback that was received it was a successful tool. Thank you to the Grand  Lodge for the telephone call system!!!

Thank you to all that participated in the “OPEN HOUSE” on October 30th 2010. It was a huge success. Thank you to all that attended the “Annual Dinner Dance  on November 6th 2010. A Great time was had by all that attended. Thanks to all who attended our Table Lodge on November 12th 2010. Thank you for your support. A special Thank You to the members of Orange Lodge that helped in the kitchen in the night of the Table Lodge. Thank you again to all who have donated to our building fund and also those that continue to donate, the outside stucco of the building looks fantastic.

As a final note I just want to say that this past year the Officers of Ansantawae Lodge # 89 by far the best group of officers any lodge could lay claim to, and have made this Master one of the happiest Masons around. All I had to do was make a call and I had support for anything I needed. I can surely say that Ansantawae lodge is in GREAT hands for many years to come and I encourage all the brothers to jump in and get involved in your lodge, no matter what it is you do just help  out and you will get some real satisfaction out of it and out of Masonry.

Fraternally, I Remain
Scott T. Sherrick WM
